Personal

My name is Isaac Weinhausen. I live with my beautiful wife in gorgeous Seattle, WA stunning San Francisco, CA, though I spent most of my life growing up in Arizona. These days, I happily earn my way as a User Experience designer.

When it comes to my hobbies, I'm a fairly simple guy — whether it's hanging with family and friends, partaking in doughnut rituals, hosting cigar nights, cooking with Sammy, traveling the world, or simply chilling at home on the Xbox 360 — it's all good! I have a lot to be positive about.

Professional

I'm one of the lucky few who gets to play for a living. Professionally, I've been designing and coding websites for the last 10 years, for a variety of companies.

From an early age, I've been motivated by a intense God-given desire to create wholey satisfying products through brilliant design. I began prototyping electronics gadgets at age 8, planned and designed my first website as a jr. high student, built a small freelance/consulting company by the time I graduated high school, and have since never ceased to grow and adapt.

While design is my first love, I also have a soft spot in my heart for logic and learning, the technical enablement behind design. Whether its coding an application, providing strategy, or researching cochlear physiology (that's another story), it satisfies an otherwise longing piece of curiosity.

Keep in mind, that while I do both design and development, I am stronger in design and prefer it over development — though I'm always happy to code my own work. (Exception: Check with me regarding AS3)
