Personal

My name is Isaac Weinhausen. I live with my beautiful wife and dusky conure in the beautiful Seattle, WA, though I spent most of my life growing up in Arizona. These days, I happily earn my way as a front-end web designer and developer.

When it comes to my hobbies, I'm a fairly simple guy — whether it's hanging with family and friends, hosting cigar nights, cooking with Sammy, traveling the world, or simply chilling at home on the Xbox 360 — it's all good! As for dislikes and complaints, I don't really have many; I'm fairly simple in that sense too. Politics, social issues, business ethics? — well that's another story.

Professional

I'm one of the lucky few who gets to play for a living. Professionally, I've been designing and coding websites over the last 8 years, for a variety of companies.

I love design. A lot. Especially when it makes life simpler, even more pleasing, and brings about greater enlightenment. That's all I'm going to say about this now — trust me, it could take a while...

Oh, I should also mention that I've always had a soft spot in my heart for logic and learning, the technical enablement behind design. Whether its coding an application, providing strategy consultation, or researching cochlear physiology (that's another story), it satisfies an otherwise longing piece of curiosity.

Feel free to contact me regarding freelance jobs. While I can't take every offer, I'd be happy to chat with you about your project, especially if it's centered around UX/UI, mobile, or rich media.

Keep in mind, that while I do both design and development, I am stronger in design and prefer it over development — though I'm always happy to code my own work. However, do check with me regarding ActionScript 3. I've become quite attached!
